The wedding celebrations of Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee concluded with a grand reception held on Sunday, June 8, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The event attracted a diverse gathering of celebrities from the Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada film industries, along with notable figures from politics and business.

Following their private wedding ceremony at the Akkineni residence in Jubilee Hills two days earlier, the reception was a formal occasion to celebrate the couple’s union. Annapurna Studios shared photos of the evening on their official social media platforms, offering fans a glimpse into the elegant event.

Akhil looked dashing in a white tailored suit, while Zainab chose a peach full-length gown with delicate lace details. She accessorized with statement jewellery, including drop earrings and a bold necklace. The couple posed for pictures with family and friends amid a beautifully decorated setting featuring soft lighting and floral arrangements, creating a warm, celebratory atmosphere.

The guest list included prominent actors like Mahesh Babu with his wife Namrata Shirodkar and their daughter, and Ram Charan accompanied by his wife Upasana. Kannada star Yash and Tamil actor Suriya, known for their close ties with the Akkineni family, were also in attendance. From the political realm, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and former Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu graced the occasion, congratulating the newlyweds.

Though many industry friends and colleagues were present, the event was kept private, with limited media access in line with the family’s preference for discretion.

Zainab, who previously maintained a low public profile, hails from a Hyderabad-based business family and is known for her interests in abstract painting and fragrance design. Her marriage to Akhil, a well-known figure in Telugu cinema for nearly a decade, has drawn public attention, especially given the couple’s choice to keep their wedding celebrations intimate and away from media glare.
